Road trip!
Jack B. from up in San Bernardino let us know that the 7th annual Mountain AA Conference in Big Bear starts on Saturday July 31st and ends Sunday August 1st, 2010.
The conference includes Al-Anon participation and features:
- speaker meetings morning until evening (for both AA & Al-Anon)
- AA & Al-Anon marathon meetings
- long timers meeting
- Hospitality Suite
- Dance with a live band
- Coffee, goodies

Yay! Our elections are complete!
Thanks to EVERYONE who showed up to be counted or to run for a position or just make sure we did it right!
For those of you still looking for ways to be of service, don’t worry! There’s TONS to do! We haven’t even STARTED yet! And, we still need all of your enthusiasm and plenty of your help!
A NOTE ABOUT SERVICE…
Being active in ANY ROLE on a YPAA committee is a great way to help the newcomer, in particular, the young person in A.A. It’s also a great way to jump start the first two legacies of AA, which are Unity and Recovery.
‘Service’ is Third Legacy of AA. It offers you the opportunity to implement our primary goal “to carry the message to the alcoholic who still suffers.”
